  2. Mwangi says:

  3. I have enjoyed reading your blog, congratulations on reaching your 100th posts. 🙂

  4. Mwangi says:

@Caustic: Thank you, thank you very much! And for the uber-expensive cyber gift you sent me on the blog’s birthday, I thank you too 😉

  5. kelly says:

Congrats! Look forward to 900 more posts.

  6. gal africana says:

I was going to sing the happy bday song but you beat me to it! Cant believe you did that hahaha

I only just discovered your blog a couple of months ago and it’s become part of my life, in a fun and happy way…so I’m sending you loads of that happiness and fun!!!

    Congrats and keep em coming!

eh…I’m curious about your journey through the get the edge audio…might need hand holding…I’m already beginning to freak out a little…you haven’t blogged about that, have you?

  7. Mwangi says:

@kelly: Thank you very much, 900 posts coming right up

  8. Mwangi says:

@gal africana: What can I say, when I kept getting kicked out of karaoke joints I decided I have my own blog and I’ll be damned if I can’t use it to share my inconsistently pitched sing-song voice. I am glad I am a part of your life, you’re pretty much a part of mine at this point and also in a fun, happy way.
No, I haven’t blogged about my Get the Edge experience in depth. Around the time I was made the Sydney move, I was a T. Robbins junkie so all the decisions that year can be viewed through a lens of T.Robbins teachings. You know we can exchange notes…I can write a post on my Get the Edge experience you write yours and we help loads of potential Robbins fans. What is freaking you out so much?

  9. acolyte says:

Your blog has a vendetta against me! My comments havent made it in a while! Anyway congrats and may you make it to 200 posts soon!

  10. Mwangi says:

@Acolyte: Thank you very much! This blog from time to time decides to act a fool when it comes to swallowing and deleting people’s comments. She is still a youngster, give her some time to learn…;)

  11. who me says:

Happy blogday Displaced African. It’s been a thrilling 100 and I know to expect more thrills… Hongera!

  12. gal africana says:

I’m tone deaf so that song sounded perfectly pitched to me (ok…so I’m lying 😉 but what are friends for eh?)

as for the AR stuff…Its a big change, thinking differently…I think that’s what’s freaking me out…I’m going through bouts of gratefulness followed by absolute dread…

Are you not a fan anymore?

  13. Mwangi says:

@who me: Thanks for that, I know who you are 😉

  14. Mwangi says:

@gal africana: Actually I am still a huge fan. I am planning to go to all his seminars and learn to do what he does at some point (amongst the many things I am considering doing…..)
Seriously, this is the best place to blog from, do a couple of posts – or journal entries (though then I can’t read them 😉 ). When you are confused and scared you do your best writing? Trust me on that one.
As for my sing song voice…..believe it or not, I actually won music theatre awards with that set of pipes…..so some may say it’s tone deaf, me thinks it’s tone deaf enough to be a rock and roll voice 😀

  15. gal africana says:

okaaay rock star lol ahem…were you really thrown out of karaoke bars? didn’t think that was possible!

I’ll sit on it and journal…it’s still all too incoherent (oops big word alert!) for me to write anything sensible enough to post.

  16. Mwangi says:

@gal: No, I was never kicked out of any karaoke bars…..I may be bad, but I am not yet “Japanese tourist whose drunk” bad. My two cents remains blog about it, when you exorcise your incoherent demons via blogging, you write your most authentic, heart felt stuff which can touch the readers…..but I’m pretty excited though, it looks like in the middle of a great revolution in a positive direction. Godspeed!

  17. hoping my wishes are not obsolete – happy 100th post and congratulations! at the prolific rate at which you are blogfully spear-headed, i have estimated that you will be putting up your 1,000th post circa 25th february 2011!!! pretty good going! 🙂

  18. Mwangi says:

@sci: Thank you very much…here’s to whatever joy may befall the 25th of February 2011 and all the possibilities in between………
