LOOOOOLLLLLLLLL!!!

Interesting Thing About this Movie

This pretty much is representative of the difference in psychology amongst generations of African immigrants. Personally I am the more rebellious, dare I say, artistic son of a mother who believes there is only one pathway to success. And that success is synonymous with material wealth.

I am actually one of many young men who came here and ended up dropping out of college, some of us never went, in pursuit of other things. Some people have started businesses that are thriving. Others are slowly making their way up the ladder in a minimum wage industry Monday to Friday, only to turn into Don Juans every time the weekend kicks in.

There are others who are in the process of starting up their business and then of course there’s myself, and….you all know my story. Behind every great comedy there is a story. This piece is no exception. I don’t want to talk about it too much though, that’s for the weekdays.
Tomorrow we continue with our regularly scheduled programming and help anyone who wants to come to Australia settle within a week.

Have a great Sunday,

Mwangi

That woman actually reminds me of all the older and middle age Kenyan women I have spoken to since I dropped out of college, “Where are the papers? Where is the money?”…..it’s amazing that people of the same generation think alike throughout the continent.
On a scale from laid-back to aggressive I think we in East Africa are probably the most chilled out people whereas the rest of Africa seems to bring the heat to everything they do…..

That was hilarious, if there is one thing I know, your mother has one idea as to what you should do in the future and you have another.

    4. Mwangi Says:

@Caustic: And in Africa you should see the reaction you get if you say you are going into the arts and shunning the Holy Grail of Office jobs, they treat you like the madman of the village. The accuracy of the subtext of the Youtube video is amazing….and of course funny.

      LOL Gina Yashere is hilarious!

    6. Mwangi Says:

@seinlife: There I agree 100%; and she is so on point too!
