This book would probably be a great foundation, but I'd probably recommend you start browsing autobiographies (or maybe even self-help books) until you find one that resonates with you emotionally and ask why because thats probably the area where you are most in need. As an example, a few years ago, books like Steve's would be all I would read because I thought my mind, beliefs etc etc were wrong. Now that I feel I am on the right path, all I need are specific how-tos in specific areas e.g. how to write blog content, how to make money online etc etc. Best of luck and its a great book to pick up. @savvy: My bet would probably be that they are not connecting with what you need. Actually, I have only read Sean Covey's the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Maybe it is a matter of not having stumbled on the right book.
