I have black American friends who have really helped me and in my experience are the ones who are more willing to bend the rules to help you out as opposed to white folk who are sticklers for the rules' but that aside just because someone is white doesn't mean they are more reliable or better friends. I challenge the author to tell me that they have never been turned down, looked down upon by a white person. I think relationships here can and do work if you hook up with like minded individuals and map out a long term game plan for your relationship.
