@spicebear: Welcome to the tDA (the Displaced African), hope you enjoy your stay. Sometime over the coming weeks, I am going to be doing a series of video posts on the four hour work week to test out just how practical the ideas in the book are because I have been absolutely captivated by it.
As I said, to me, polygamy seems to be a way more dignified way to live than the current way in which marriages have "ndogo ndogos" (mistresses) secret harems, flings, one night stands, loneliness and divorce. I mean, folks can make fun of the practice all they want, but at least those marriages lasted and as you said, there was full disclosure so definitely look forward to that, though I do want to at least do some research on it before putting something out there.
As for sex transmutation, the practice, as I have learned, http://wellbeingandhealth.net/general-health/267/ has been practiced for quite a long time. Few things are as powerful as the male sex drive, and we need to understand how to work with it, around it or through it, but at some point we must do something with it. Its too powerful to ignore.

interesting list. and i so want the four hour work week. to be stuck in a cubicle until retirement is not the way for everyone.

i most definately want polygamy to be discussed. not discussing it brings its own problems like alot of kenyans (is this more widespread? im guessing so) discovering when they become adults that their father has a whole other family stashed away somewhere. ama when the father dies children who were unknown until that point want a part in the family estate. like my grandma used to say, polygamy only works when the first wife is made a part of the process. not strong armed into it mind you, but like kitambo when the woman had a say cos the new wife would be her companion and helper. much better than running around hiding stuff that always comes to light and ends up traumatising everyone involved. a dude should say from the beginning that he wants more than one wife and the woman should either accept that and move on. but if life were that way there would be no soap opera like dramas going on so i wont hold my breath.

sex transmutation? i'll hold my comment until i have time to read it through, haha.

@gal: The book can be taxing at some stages, but its definitely worth it. Enjoy your hour of power! I am off to hunt wild deer, sling it over my shoulder all the way home.

I'm reading "Think and grow rich" now but I'm on kedo page 29...wait....37...looking to finish it this week...but it looks like one of those books that I'll never be finished with.

I think it takes a whole lot of man to admit to liking Pretty woman...so I was sharing in your delight over the movie...not your emasculation...you MAN you (haiya...what happened in my sleep???)

serendipity (copied and pasted...can never spell that word right) indeedy :-)

off to do my hour of power....

@Kelly: Last time I checked, majority of my readership was coming from Naija ( btw, NAIJA FOLKS LEAVE SOME COMMENTS AND LET ME KNOW YOU'RE THERE) and in Naija polygamy is still very alive and practiced so I think I should be able to piece together a piece and start some discussion on it. Feel free to mini post here....my writing process is far from logical so Lord knows when I'll put that post out.

@gal africana: Thank you for supporting me in my emasculation process ;) Soon enough, I think I will be in a place where I am ready to head off on a spa retreat ;)
I am actually surprised you haven't heard of sex transmutation. Haven't you read, Think and Grow Rich? If you haven't, let me strongly recommend that you pick up that book, absolute classic.
I am glad you enjoyed Peaceful Warrior, to be frank I haven't watched it, but I had heard so much good about it and it popped into my head when I was reading your comments so......serendipity perhaps?
Anthony is huge! His fist is as big as my head and considering how much muscle mass he has added over the years, the result is a true giant among men. But I am definitely going to meet and train under him soon enough.
You do seem high....keep it up and use the force for good, Skywalker (lol)

Kevin Hill is such a beautiful program... ok, and Taye Diggs is the lead...

That polygamous issue is one that needs in depth research I agree. I know of one polygamous marriage, but the couple/triple were old, so I didn't get close enough to know the intricacies of how it worked and the complications. The kids look healthy enough, though all the boys really like the polygamy idea.

Wait..I know of another polygamous marriage, this one the kids hate it, but it's more of the dad's mistake in alienating the first wives kids and all. Ok, you need to do a post on this so I can do a mini post comment.
