@Carol: Success . That one was definitely a puzzle to figure out. I hope this blog can still be of some use to you though it is aimed at the African immigrant. My time to work is midnight to 6a.m.-that’s my prime time – so I’m wide awake and will be for the next few hours.

I once opted to be a teacher but thought students will never underetand me and will therefore ger zeros in Physics,then say its a hard subject.
Oh I should not have commented here today coz I do not consider myself an immigrant,at least not now, and hope not ,ever! Its past 1am there,sleep!!!!!

@Mzeiya: 1) Online, definitely. Though this is my life's work and so it's part of number one. At the moment I am online roughly 6-7 days a week though it wasn't always this way and there are breaks every so often, yesterday I went for bible study like this weekend where I shall be out and about going to parties and the like. Haven't seen Uni libraries for a while..........:) 2) At the moment I am working on a newsletter where I basically cover all of that, hopefully I should have it done by the end of next week BUT I will answer your question in two ways: a) I want to know that myself: Now that the blog has a good foundation and I am almost finished setting everything up, I really want to get out there and get people's opinions on living in different countries in terms of racism, economics, the immigrant culture and so on and so forth. I asked for help in my 100th Post. If you happen to be an immigrant living in another country, please share your experiences. Definitely keep your eyes peeled, I will figure out some way to get that info from the minds of immigrants onto the blog. b) I have touched on life here,through various posts but some good posts that explain things unique to the Australian experience include my guide to immigrating to Australia in a week, my post on racism in Australia and my post on working more than 20 hours (though that is for students). But rest assured THAT'S EXACTLY what I want this blog to be about. What I write now I write simply because I am limited in time and in experience and so let me repeat I definitely want to get out there and record this stuff. Thanks for the kind words. I do put music on this site every so often, like tomorrow's post where I feature a smooth Naija track I just found, but it's more depending on how I feel that day rather than something I must do...I try to limit the things I must do on this blog as much as possible to avoid being all over the place....write posts everyday, respond to all comments and go out there and spread the word about my blog somehow. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on other posts.

So Mwangi where do u fall mostly? Being a Friday as it is I can c ur probably not the party animal. And hey whats your comment on the life in Oz say compared to UK or US for the African immigrant? Also can u explore migrations among these countries by Africans and the challenges involved. I know all that may require a new blog but a few points would suffice for now. Otherwise good work you are doing with your site.

PS: SOme music on the side may spice up the site.

@Carol: Aaah, I had to reread them both about 7 times but I think I finally understand…you are saying that the place you spend most of your time is online and that you are glad every night when you get to bed to see another night has gone by. Cryptic but I think I got it. Do I got it?

@gal: Something I realized about myself quite a while ago, is as complex as I’d like to think I am, I am just really a bunch of habits repeated over and over and over again…..hmmmm….the gym was a tricky one, it is a minority that goes to the gym or plays any type of sports on a regular basis, so it rarely goes into an African’s top 7.
