A Post for the More Nostalgic: 5 Songs from Back in the Day

Hey,

Today I thought I would take a bit of a break from all the posting and put up some of the music that moved me from back in the days when every year didn’t begin with 2. If you enjoy this music, you enjoyed your weekend and you are enjoying the day of the Lord, give me a yeah!

Be blessed and bless others,

Mwangi

the good old days…so much good music is forgotten…I’m actually making a list of all my fav songs from the 80’s 90’s and early 2000…inspired by a very fun 90’s theme party I attended. Something about old music that makes things fun and chilled….I’m all mellow now…

@gal: It’s music from a time when we were young and innocent. It just creeps into your soul and kinda sits there doesn’t it……

:-) . it’s the memories they evoke and the way the remind us about who we were once upon a time.

@R: Couldn’t have said it better myself. My theory is that’s why as people get older they always have the same complaint:

“The music of today isn’t as good/isn’t as real etc, as the music I used to listen to BACK IN THE DAY!”

Me thinks it isn’t the music, it is the person you were BACK IN THE DAY that made all the music sound better.
